This weekend marked Zac’s first days as a Sailing Instructor with Seahorse Sailing Phuket, and we’re delighted to welcome him to the team.
Sailing since the tender age of 7, Zac brings an impressive combination of sporting achievement, academic success, and a passion for watersports. As a competitive swimmer with current top 10 National rankings in Thailand in both Freestyle and Butterfly events, he understands the dedication, discipline, and perseverance required to perform at a high level. Alongside his sporting commitments, Zac successfully completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Programme and previously chose Sailing as an elective subject during his IGCSE PE studies, demonstrating a longstanding connection to the sport.
As he begins his coaching journey, Zac brings the mindset of a high-performing athlete and a strong appreciation for the value of learning, preparation, and personal growth. These qualities will help him inspire and support the young sailors who join our programmes.
At Seahorse Sailing Phuket, we believe sailing develops confidence, resilience, and leadership skills both on and off the water. Zac’s progression from student and athlete to instructor is a wonderful example of that pathway in action.
